We strongly advocate for local and national resources to be easy available and accessible surround sexual violence and similar. Here you will find the appropriate resources in Australia and the ACT, which specifically include ANU, UC and ACU student support services. 


1800RESPECT is Australia's national sexual assault and family violence counselling service. They prioritise information, referral to appropriate services and counselling in order to support those seeking help. It is also a part of the National Plan to Reduce Violence against Women and their Children 2010-2022

Daisy is a free app designed by 1800RESPECT that provides quick information about the relevant support services in your local area and nationally. The app includes safety features to protect the privacy of users and connect users to services quickly in times of need.


ReachOut Australia is a leading online mental health organisation for young people and their guardians to seek help and gain relevant information. Their services include practical support, tools and tips across a range of issues to ensure young people remain safe.



Lifeline is a crisis support and suicide prevention service that operates 24/7. The phone line can be used to discuss a range of issues - the counsellors are their to assist in any way they can. 

Respect.gov is a joint Australian national, state and territory government initiative with the goal to act as influencers to young people to promote respect of oneself and others. They provide a wealth of resources  about recognising disrespect, talking about it and preventing it. They also include resources in 19 other languages

Beyond Blue are an online and phone service mostly surrounding depression, anxiety and suicide prevention. Their services include a 24/7 phone line, online chat, email and online forum to provide direct assistance to those seeking help. Support. Advice. Action is their focus. 


The Women's Services Network (WESNET) is a national peak advocacy body that represents women and children who have experienced or currently experience domestic or family violence, specifically those living in shelters, refuges, safe houses, information and referral services. WESNET seeks to ensure that all women and children in Australia are safe from harm and free from the consequences of domestic and family violence. 

Relationships Australia is national relationship support service that assists individuals, families and communities to achieve healthy and respectful relationships. Their services include counselling, family dispute resolution, and a range of educative programs  with families and communities. 

End Rape On Campus Australia (EROC) works to end sexual violence at unviersities and residential colleges through direct support for survivors, prevention education, and policy reform at the federal, state and campus level. They also provide direct support for student activists in their fight for justice and cultural change.

TIS National is an interpreting service for individuals and agencies. They assist in immediate phone interpreting which is a valuable resource for those seeking help who need some English assistance. They strive to deliver equity and access to the community by providing this service.
